State Schools’ Relief is a not for profit organisation that supports the needs of underprivileged Victorian government school students by providing new school uniforms, shoes and educational resources. They work side by side with all Victorian Primary, Secondary, Special Developmental and Language schools to ensure that any students facing hardship have the necessary clothing and appropriate footwear for school.
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)
The Victorian Government have unveiled a new $148 million initiative to ensure all Victorian students can take part in school trips and sporting activities.
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) will run over four years and provide payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions.
Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. $125 per year will be paid for eligible primary school students, with $225 per year paid for eligible secondary school students. Payments will go directly to the school and be tied to the student.

All application must be via the students school. These may also be obtained from the school.
Uniform Initiative
All children attending a government primary, secondary school, VET or VCAL program are entitled to uniform/textbook assistance via State Schols relief. There is no requirement for families to have a health care card and this is applied for at the school with the Assistant Principal or the Wellbeing Officer.
Graphing Calculator
State Schools’ Relief is able to provide graphing calculators for senior students (Year 11 and 12) completing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects, beginning Term 1, 2020.
Without a graphing calculator, many disadvantaged Victorian students are unable to participate fully in STEM subjects. To assist these students with successful completion of these subjects, State Schools’ Relief will provide one the following graphing calculators to any student requiring assistance.
