Victorian Youth Week (formerly National Youth Week) is a week-long celebration of young people (aged 12-25).
It gives you an opportunity to express your ideas and views, and act on issues that affect your lives. It also lets you have a lot of fun and celebrate the positive contributions young people make.
This year, events in Victoria will be organised to celebrate and recognise the contribution of young people.
Victorian Youth Week 2018 will be held from Friday 13 to Sunday 22 April 2018.
Young people looking to organise events for the first Victorian Youth Week 2018 can now apply for grants to help kick start their plans, Minister for Youth Affairs Jenny Mikakos has announced.
Every day, young people from all cultures and backgrounds are making a huge contribution to life in Victoria.
I am delighted that for the first time in 2018, we will be celebrating young Victorians through Victorian Youth Week.
The Victorian Government is providing Victorian Youth Week grants of up to $2,000 to fund events that celebrate and recognise the contribution of young Victorians to their community.
Victorian Youth Week 2018 grants are available to assist groups of young people to organise events for other young people. To be eligible, young people must be working in partnership with a local council, community organisation or school.

Applications (including any attachments) must be submitted using the Victorian Youth Week 2018 Application Form by Friday, 24 November 2017. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Receipt of applications will be acknowledged in writing.
